As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for defining and maintaining business processes and functions. You will collaborate with business and development teams on IT transformation projects, including migration to Dynamics D365 F&O.
As a Business System Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Work with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to identify and define the business problem and business case;
- Support, own, clarify and validate both functional and non-functional requirements;
- Manage requirements ensuring that there is traceability through the project lifecycle from initiation to final delivery;
- Working with users to translate ideas into technical specifications of IT requirements;
- To work with the development teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the solution proposed meets with the business requirements, and ensure that any design issues that arise are resolved;
- Testing and validating business requirements;
- Lead the definition, evaluation and agreement of the business solution options (collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and technology teams) ensuring they are consistent with the overall business strategy. This may include the evaluation of 3rd party solutions;
- Work with the wider project teams to enable the solutions to be embedded within the business through the development of communications and training material;
- Support the Project Manager in identifying project risks, impacts and mitigating actions.
As a Business System Specialist, you possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a business analysis role;
- Experienced working closely together with financial stakeholders;
- Experience of ERP Change Programmes, preferably within a retail organisation;
- Proven ability to think, write and present in a logical and structured way;
- Ability to problem solve and challenge;
- Customer focused with the ability to influence decision making;
- Experience of working with teams in multiple locations;
- Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to truly understand the underlying needs of the business.
